We decided on the name Fresnel because a Fresnel lens to us represents focus, intensity and creativity all wrapped up in one amazing feat of engineering. A Fresnel lens gathers light from a relatively small source, and through prisms carefully aligned in a special configuration that bends the light into an intense, focused beam.
The Fresnel lens was originally built for lighthouses, a universal symbol of a beacon of hope and safety for travelers on the sea. Regardless of their location, inns and Bed and Breakfasts represent the ultimate in safe harbor for travelers.
Likewise, Fresnel Marketing's goal is to take a small source of light for innkeepers and focus it in the right places to draw in visitors. It is our philosophy that a well executed internet marketing strategy is much like a Fresnel lens in that it should be custom fit to the inn, it should be extremely efficient in getting the message out and it should turn what would normally be extremely complex into a simple mechanism that is easy to understand.
